It was more a matter of Lotus giving him a reliable enough steed.
All year, Maldonado has shown himself to be quick and competent in the actual races so far.
Im happy to see him not the cause of frustration from other drivers

Its better for everyone when it goes like this, RoGro had a strange moment this time. They said on the cars they have a different throttle for a minute and a half or so after a pit, Kimi had this problem before, I wonder what thats all about.

Where did you read that? I heard Kimi did have a strange throttle issue which was awesome to see that spin firsthand but that is really peculiar.

I dont think hes a bad driver. Grosjean was Crashtor before Crashtor was cool, but they can both bring home points

During some technical talk on sky, Paul DiResta said there is a mode the throttle is in during a pit stop and it lasts for a certain length of time, Kimi said it did it last year with the cold tires too.
